Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship

Our faculty-to-fellow ratio provides extensive one-on-one teaching relationships.

The Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine - Scott & White Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Our curriculum emphasizes clinical experience in preparation for examination by the American Board of Cardiology.

Our two-year program offers one position per year.

Curriculum

Fellows receive training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology including:

  • Diagnosis and management of cardiac arrhythmias
  • Device therapy for arrhythmias and heart failure
  • Management of antiarrhythmic drugs
  • Ablation of SVT and complex arrhythmias
    • Atrial fibrillation
    • Ventricular tachycardia
  • Three-dimensional mapping
  • Remote magnetic navigation
  • Lead extraction
  • Left atrial appendage occlusion

  • Train at one of U.S. News & World Report's top hospitals in Texas

    Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is a 640-bed teaching and research hospital with a Level I trauma center.
