I-131 Radiotherapy

I-131 radiotherapy may be a good treatment option for your patients with thyroid cancer or hyperthyroidism.

I-131 radiotherapy is an effective therapy for patients undergoing treatment for – or who have previously had – thyroid cancer or hyperthyroidism. I-131 radiotherapy is a type of radioactive iodine that can neutralize malignant tissue and ablate thyroid function.

  • Help eliminate cancerous thyroid tissue that has metastasized to other areas of the body
