The rehabilitation team at Baylor Scott & White – Carrollton consists of one Occupational Therapist, three Physical Therapists, one Speech-Language Therapist, one Rehab Aide and numerous PRN staff.
The rehabilitation team has worked hard to promote early mobility throughout the hospital, including the intensive care unit with the ABCDE bundle through collaboration with the nursing staff. In addition, patients admitted for total joint replacement are evaluated on day of surgery to promote early mobility and decrease length of stay through Baylor Scott & White – Carrollton's Joint Commission-certified orthopedic program.
