Orthopedic Trauma

We treat all manner of traumatic fractures and provide reconstructive surgery in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Fellowship-trained surgeons in orthopedic trauma and multi-specialty trauma care help make Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple two of only 17 Level I Trauma Centers in the State of Texas.

Your severely injured patients can draw upon the expertise of a very large spectrum of medical specialists who use the latest imaging technology, computer-assisted surgical techniques and the most modern fracture fixation devices available.

As a part of our multidisciplinary approach to care, we also offer comprehensive rehabilitation services to care your patients through recovery.

Research and Innovation

Members of the orthopedics department at Baylor Scott & White are now actively developing revolutionary fracture implants while other members are trying to understand the basic proteins that signal the body to heal a fractured bone. We hope that these mechanical and biologic advances will provide future generations with better outcomes following their injuries.
