Research Studies

Our mission is to inspire, empower and support scholarly investigation in the areas related to traumatic injury, injury prevention, critical illness, and emergency general surgery

As mandated by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS-COT), our Level I Trauma Center at Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, must show evidence of a research program through publications; grants; presentations at local, regional, and national conferences; and involvement of graduate medical staff (including medical students, surgical residents, and surgical critical care fellows).

Below is a highlight of just a few of the over 30 trauma research studies currently taking place at Baylor Dallas.
