Objectives

This conference is designed to address critical issues related to decision making for and treatment of stroke patients. Diagnosis and management of concussions will also be addressed. This conference will feature experts from neurology, radiology, neuropsychology, stroke neurology, and interventional neuroradiology.

Each topic will be covered in the context of case presentations followed by a panel discussion at the conclusion of the program that will allow for audience interaction with faculty.

As a result of attending this course, the participant should be able to:
  • Recognize concussion and the pathophysiology of traumatic brain injury
  • Identify who gets a concussion and how to name and manage concussion and post-concussive symptoms
  • Identify major advances in key areas of cutting-edge research, technology and therapeutic strategies
  • Discuss the most relevant recommendations of the updated acute stroke guidelines from AHA
  • Understand the value of optimal triage of acute stroke patients
  • Review the current treatment options for intervention after acute stroke

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We request that all conference attendees pre-register to assure the availability of all conference materials. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after April 19, 2018. Refunds (minus $25 administration fee) will be provided to registrants who cancel their registration in writing up to April 19, 2018.

The conference organizers will not be responsible for reimbursement of airline fees and other accommodation expenses. Walk-in registrations are accepted, but we cannot guarantee seating or conference materials the day of the conference.
