Physician leadership roles are vastly changing in the healthcare industry as they are being introduced more to the financial components of their departments. This CME course will engage physicians in discussion regarding the evolution of financial responsibility and introduce them to the collection and revenue cycle process.

Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, attendees should be able to:

  • Incorporate strategies to increase health care efficiency and promote healthcare innovation
  • Support the needs of the patient while being cognizant of cost and efficiency issues
  • Recognize strategic approaches for successful leadership role in institutional role or private practice
  • Collaborative to improve the healthcare system and provide equitable, affordable health care globally
  • Assimilate new communication skills with a focus on ethical considerations

The 2018 Neuroscience Symposium welcomes exhibitor participation at this activity. This annual conference can include a registration attendance of up to 200 primary care physicians, family practitioners, internal medicine physicians as well as other allied healthcare professionals.
