Objectives

The conference is designed to increase competency in diagnosis, treatment and management of specific disorders. Particular attention will be paid to applying practice strategies in support of high quality, cost effective health care and a rational approach for evaluation of patient indicators, essential for all practicing primary care physicians. A close look at risk factors and the benefits of regular follow up will also be discussed.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify current approaches
  • Recognize the prevalence of identified patient conditions and practice
  • Discuss how to differentiate diagnosis and treatment options to patients
  • Implement the assessment of patients in practice
  • Identify resources of physician specialists
